Visit to Tate Modern. Interacted with the art works by sketching details of them. Questioned whether worthy of being in the Tate or not and if the way they were exhibited created dialogue and rhythm. It was very demanding to give that much attention to some works of art in addition to looking at all the other ones that were there. A few exhibitions a had an introduction video often documenting the artists’ creative process and ideas. They have this way of increasing my curiosity so much that I fell drawn to the whole exhibition after that. They also help to understand and feel closer to the artists and their work. The introduction documentary about Australian artists particularly touched me as they talked about past generations, its colonised past still very much present and strongly felt by today’s Australians. One of the artists saw something very interesting about her creative process and how it was a mix of conscious and unconscious decisions.
